The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a metal recycling plant in Cape Town, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, coordinate, and implement all repairs and maintenance activities for the Processing Facility
* Oversee the day-to-day performance of the Maintenance team
* Manage all repairs and maintenance on the plant (preventative and emergency)
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks
* Maintain accurate records and reports to support business decision-making

Requirements

* Relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Technical)
* A Trade Certificate would be preferred
* Proven technical experience
* Excellent leadership and project management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What We Offer
