Job Summary

St. John's Riverside Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the daily operation of our program, providing clinical and therapeutic activities to support patient recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Conduct assessments, case management, interventions, and treatment planning to ensure individualized care.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and external community resources to facilitate client treatment and relationship building.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information, including reports and statistical data.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in substance use disorder treatment or two years as a social worker or mental health counselor.
  • HS diploma or GED required; Master's degree in Social Work or mental health counseling from an accredited school preferred.
  • CASAC and/or QHP certification preferred, except where required to meet regulatory staffing ratios.
