Job Description: Senior Manager Information Security Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Information Security Operations to join our team at the Office of the Chief Justice South Africa. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our enterprise security systems and solutions, as well as ensuring the security of our externally facing ICT security applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and management of enterprise security systems and solutions.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our ICT systems and data.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement security awareness training programs.
  • Provide supervisory support to internal and external ICT security management teams.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate and a three-year National Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 (360 Credits) as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years' ICT Infrastructure Support Management environment, with four (4) years' experience in ICT Security Operations specifically Firewall and Identity Management.
  • Valid Firewall or Cybersecurity Technical certificate is mandatory. Valid MCSA: Windows 2012 or 2016 certificate, Valid CISM certificate or equivalent will be an added advantage. A valid driver's license.
