Logistics Supervisor Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the national logistics infrastructure, ensuring efficient delivery of good customer service across regions. Key responsibilities include managing expired and at-risk stock, executing third-party depot management, and implementing Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) for these depots. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with batch code allocations, managing scorecards, and issuing daily reports as required. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Grade 12 certificate, a relevant degree, and at least 2-3 years of work experience. Fluency in English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administration priorities of 3rd party depots to ensure efficient delivery of customer service
  • Support the national logistics infrastructure and alleviate pressures at national depots as required
  • Manage expired and at-risk stock
  • Execute third-party depot management
  • Implement SLAs for 3rd party depots
  • Assist with batch code allocations
  • Manage scorecards of 3rd party depots
  • Issue daily reports as required
  • Manage cash sales reconciliations and document submissions
  • Manage SCT processing/inputs and truck utilization
  • Manage expired or soon-to-be-expired stock in all regions
  • Manage and coordinate logistics Tempo and Complaints 2 information and feedback nationally
  • Monitor and collate early warning quality issues
  • Maintain work procedures on Tempo
  • Support administrative functions in all depots nationally
  • Support national logistics managers in implementing best practices nationally
