Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead our organization's data architecture efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain an optimal data architecture blueprint that supports our organization's business needs, scalability, and performance requirements.
  2. Data Modeling: Design and implement logical and physical data models that translate business requirements into data solutions.
  3. Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the process.
  4. Database Management: Manage and optimize database systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance.
  5. Data Governance and Compliance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide guidance.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data architecture, database design, and data management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, ELT).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with data governance, compliance, and security practices is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) are desirable.
