About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSE trainer and assessor to join our team at SafetySA.
As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety training, with experience in planning and preparing training sessions, presenting training material, and facilitating training according to SAQA/SETA/QCTO/NOSA requirements.
You will also be responsible for moderating and assessing learners, providing confidential assessment feedback, and completing portfolios of evidence.
In addition, you will be expected to market NOSA by answering client queries and identifying marketing opportunities during training presentations.
We value continuous self-development, so we encourage you to engage in seminars or other relevant training courses to stay up-to-date with NOSA products, safety, health, environment, and ETD best practices.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years HSE training experience, 5 years industry experience, and be accredited as a Train the Trainer with registration as an Assessor and Moderator.
A National Diploma in Safety Management, SAMTRAC certificate, or equivalent is essential. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 certificates are advantageous.
You must have a driver's license, own a reliable vehicle, and be willing to travel.
Familiarity with MS Office suites (Outlook, Zoom, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required, as well as fluency in English and at least one other national language.
A suitable workstation and reliable internet access are necessary for remote work.
