About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their technical skills and problem-solving abilities to drive timely settlement of claims. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective claim resolution.
Main Responsibilities
- Authorize claims within set mandates and resolve claims within agreed productivity targets and turnaround times
- Apply technical skills and communicate effectively with customers to resolve technical issues
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer complaints and resolutions, as well as claim rejections
- Manage claims handling in accordance with regulated agreements specified by relevant regulatory boards
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent technical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong claims judgment and ability to communicate clearly. Relevant insurance-related qualifications and 4 years of claims experience are required. Shift work and overtime are compulsory.
