Elenjical Solutions, a global consulting firm specializing in capital markets and risk technology, invites applications for our Financial Markets technology acceleration program.
This program is ideal for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in technology, consulting, banking, or finance, with a keen interest in financial markets and technology.
Program Overview:
- Three-month intensive training covering financial markets, software development, Murex (a vendor-specific system), business analysis, cloud and software testing.
- Post-training, candidates will be assigned to client projects with our experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial markets software development and testing
- Business Analysis/System Analysis
- Trading system development/configuration
- Financial Instrument setup and validation
- Strategic consulting
- System support
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of work experience
- Prior consulting/banking experience is an advantage but is not a must-have
- Proficiency in one programming language is a must (Python, C#, Java, C++, C, SQL, etc.)
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor (4-year program) or Master's in Mathematics of Finance, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Finance, Mathematics, Financial Risk Management, Quantitative risk management, etc. from a reputable university
- Mathematics up to a second-year level (Calculus, Statistics, Linear Algebra and Differential equations)
Consulting Skills:
- Communication – the ability to convey relevant information in the written and verbal form
- Interpersonal Skills – the ability to interact with other people, individually and in groups, through listening, effective speaking, and the ability to control and manage emotions
- Collaboration – the ability to work as a team to achieve a common goal
- Requirements Gathering – ability to extract and understand client requirements
- Solution Design – ability to create solutions given requirements
- Software development – the ability to implement designs
- Scoping – contribute to scoping and effort estimations
- System Configuration – the ability to configure systems and develop system software to deliver functional solutions to client system requirements
- Planning – the ability to plan task execution and deliver accordingly
- Documentation – the ability to document requirements, solutions, and configuration concisely
- Stakeholder Engagement – the ability to engage relevant stakeholders and manage expectations
- Prioritization – the ability to identify the object of the highest importance and executing accordingly
