About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the effective management of our warehouses and logistics operations, ensuring seamless delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouses, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and implement processes to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to track key performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric and a relevant degree in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in warehousing and logistics, with at least 3 years of proven team management experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, SAP, and WMS, with experience in inventory management and logistics coordination.
