About the Position

The Chemistry Lab Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist the shift team in performing analytical tasks as assigned according to relevant Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform analysis of samples according to Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Guidelines, and applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and provide analytic input into laboratory operations.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
Requirements
  • BSc/HND in Analytic Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years laboratory experience as an analyst in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in performing Method Development, Method Validation, Method Verification, and Method Transfer.
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written), Deadline driven, Quality Focus, Coping with Pressures and Setbacks, Analytical skills required, Detail oriented, Deciding and Initiating Action, Leading and Supervising, Persuading and Influencing.
