**Minimum Requirements**:
Diploma in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.
HACCP, BRCGS, ERP Systems, Shopware

At least a minimum 3 years in a Quality Control/ Quality Assurance role in Food manufacturing industry and or quality assurance and research and development.
3 years working in the FMCG industry

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Health Safety and Quality Management:

- Maintain Company operating procedures and work with the Quality Assurance team, completing appropriate QA documentation, ensuring product quality and adherence to all quality and customer standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
- Management Systems.
- Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, carrying out duties following Good Manufacturing Practices, 5S practices, and assume responsibility for hygiene and housekeeping in a specified work area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to PPE regulations while working within a safe working environment.
- Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring all factory hygiene activities are conducted in full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and environmental requirements.

Packaging:

- Inspect all packaging material for damage, cleanliness, mixed product, and other defects.
- Reject all non-conforming material, fill in required documents (debit note) and return stock with the driver.
- Record all received stock on the system.
- Verify that the materials received have the required documents, COC and meet requirements; liaise with the supplier regarding non-conformance.
- Sample packaging material and conduct lab tests to verify compliance to standard by checking size, SAP code, address, colour etc.
- Compare received COC with the signed specification at the lab by checking dimensions, vendor name, product code, material type etc.
- Release all material that meets the required standards on the SAP system.
- Block all material that does not meet the required standards on the SAP system and place red stickers to identify defective stock.
- Place orange stickers on packaging material that is on hold and under investigation.
- Log NCR on the database and send report to supplier.
- File all packaging material documents in a retrievable manner for audit purposes.
- Receive orders from the packaging team for the creation of labels per product specifications.
- Create and update labels and send to the supervisor for approval.
- Prepare a brief to update staff members on new and updated labels.
- Create and update the new or updated visual standard on the system and print a poster for use by staff members.
- Train staff members on new or updated specifications on the packaging and assess the understanding of changes.
- Liaise with the suppliers regarding amendments to specifications for packaging.

Product Line:

- Inspect all packaging material for damage, cleanliness, mixed product and other defects.
- Reject all non-conforming material, packaging, and product.
- Check random samples on the production line for defects in colour, temperature, weight, fill line and other requirements.
- Maintain and monitor the quality of the products within the production line.
- Check the sanitation and verify that the sanitization procedure and standard adhere to regulations.
- Take samples per batch to the lab for storage and testing of shelf-life and adherence to specifications.
- Sample packaging material and conduct lab tests to verify compliance to standard by checking size, SAP code, address, colour etc.
- Release all product that meets the required standards on the SAP system.
- Block all product that does not meet the required standards on the SAP system and place red stickers to identify defective stock.
- Place orange stickers on packaging material that is on hold and under investigation and send the sample to the QA Technologist for testing.
- Participate in lab tests to determine whether products are to be rejected or saved according to set standards.
