The Independent Schools Council is seeking a highly experienced individual to lead its Higher Education provision. As the Director of Higher Education, you will oversee all aspects of the school's successful programme, guiding students through applications to elite universities both at home and overseas.

With significant whole-school responsibility, you will manage a team including 4 Higher Education Co-ordinators, 1 US counsellor, and a Higher Education administrator. You will work closely with Heads of departments across all disciplines to support and guide their university enrichment programme.

The role would suit someone looking to move into senior leadership in the near future. You will have an excellent understanding of how to support highly able students through applications to elite institutions, including having experience and understanding of the collegiate system at Oxbridge.

About the Role

  • Lead the Higher Education programme, managing the process of applications to UK, US, and international universities.
  • Support students through applications to elite universities, including Oxbridge and US institutions.
  • Work closely with Heads of departments to develop and deliver university enrichment programmes.
