Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Agent to join our team in Johannesburg. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for promoting our business and ensuring new deals are signed every month. This includes sourcing prospective tenants, contacting them to set up viewings, and attending arranged viewings to sell units available in our buildings. You will also reply to emails and get details of prospective tenants, close deals by getting lease fee or full deposit paid by the tenant, and assist clients in completing the application form.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of letting, tenant & other operational procedures and processes, and be able to adapt to change quickly. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote our business and ensure new deals are signed every month.
  • Sourcing prospective tenants and contacting them to set up viewings.
  • Attending arranged viewings to sell units available in our buildings.
  • Replying to emails and getting details of prospective tenants.
  • Closing deals by getting lease fee or full deposit paid by the tenant.
  • Assisting clients in completing the application form.

Requirements:
  • Understand letting, tenant & other operational procedures and processes.
  • Can easily adapt to change.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Confident and vibrant personality.
  • Very hard working.
  • Must be willing to be available outside of working hours.
  • Well-spoken and presentable communication skills.
  • Strong command of the English language - essential.
  • Ability to speak at least 3 African languages.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Excel - essential.
  • 1+ years sales experience - essential.
  • Clear credit record and criminal record.

KPAs:
  • Responsible for new deals signed with the company by promoting the business.
  • Contact prospective tenants to set up viewings.
  • Reply to emails and get details of prospective tenants.
  • Close deals by getting lease fee or full deposit paid by the tenant.
  • Assist clients in completing the application form and thoroughly explain the application process to clients.
  • Ensure your capability to understand and explain lease charges on the pricelist and lease processes.
