Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Customer Service Professional to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while achieving net profit growth for the business.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Achieve net profit growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency;
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience by understanding customer needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements;
  • Manage the migration of accounts from transactional to self-service platforms to enhance customer convenience and reduce costs;
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the active customer account base, increasing client relationships and loyalty;
  • Maximize cross-sell opportunities by identifying and capitalizing on upselling and bundling potential;
  • Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets and optimize sales performance;
  • Provide accurate and reliable sales and service statistics to inform business decisions and drive growth;
  • Comply with governance requirements, including legislative and audit requirements, to ensure a risk-free environment;
  • Check all transactions daily to ensure new business applications are closed within appropriate timelines.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and relationship management, with a proven track record of achieving net profit growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in customer service or sales roles;
  • Strong industry knowledge and technical skills;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, marketing, or finance).
