The city's staff comprises 220 positions across nine departments, providing a diverse range of opportunities for growth and development.

This administrative role supports the City Clerk's Office, performing a variety of routine and complex duties that require considerable discretion, judgment, and diplomacy. As an essential member of the team, you may be called upon to serve as Acting City Clerk in the absence of the Clerk or designated representative. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks under the general supervision of the City Clerk or assigned designee.

To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in a progressively responsible administrative support role in a professional office environment. Alternatively, you may have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The ideal candidate should be able to obtain certifications such as the Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), Florida Certified Records Manager (FCRM), and Notary Public within a specified timeframe as outlined by the City Clerk.
