Job Purpose

To develop and maintain financial valuation models that enable clients to make informed investment decisions. The successful candidate will support the team by providing detailed analyses and documentation for proposals and transactions, contributing to revenue generation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with external clients through analysis and research, responding to their queries promptly.
  • Establish and maintain trusting working relationships with the cluster and team, ensuring a smooth flow of work.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors, such as Bloomberg and INET, through regular interaction.
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to achieving transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives.
  • Support corporate responsibility by participating in initiatives that align with the business strategy.
  • Ensure work is completed according to plan and expectations, executing duties within internal and external guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage reputational risks by complying with industry regulations and acting professionally at all times.
  • Provide quality advice and recommendations, documenting them in internal and external reports and requisite documentation.
  • Identify training courses and career progression opportunities through input and feedback from management.
  • Share knowledge and industry trends with the team and stakeholders, contributing to intellectual capital development.
  • Provide support activities to the team to generate revenue by designing, developing, testing, updating, and maintaining financial valuation models.
Essential Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification

Post Graduate Qualification / CA (SA) / CFA / BComm. LLB. / BSc. Engineering / Actuarial Science

Minimum Experience Level

5 - 6 year's experience in a Corporate Finance and ECM environment
