Experienced Automotive Technician Wanted

At CARtime, we're committed to excellence in the automotive industry. Our workshop in N1 City, Western Cape, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician.

Compensation: R16 000 per month

We require a qualified individual with a valid South African driver's license and at least 5 years of mechanical experience on light passenger petrol and diesel vehicles post qualification. Preference will be given to applicants who have previously worked in an aftermarket service environment, such as BOSCH, e-Cars, Car Service City, or Car Care Clinic.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of various vehicle brands, including BMW, Toyota, VW, Hyundai, Ford, and others
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, demonstrating drive, reliability, and proactivity
  • High-quality service and repair execution within standard industry flat rates
  • Proficiency in computer diagnostics
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • Fluency in English, with strong writing and reading skills
  • A sober lifestyle and a clean criminal record are essential
  • Good troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
  • Verifiable references and a mechanical qualification certificate are mandatory

Work Arrangements:

Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
