Duties include:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate repair estimates
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as tune-ups and fluid checks, to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify any additional issues
- Use computerized systems to access and update vehicle repair records
- Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in automotive repair techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain needed repairs, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns or questions they may have
