About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth financial operations of our Emalahleni branch. This includes collecting accounts, invoicing, and fund allocation. They will also review accounts for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and address any issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collections of Accounts: Proactively manage collections to keep accounts up to date and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Invoicing and Fund Allocation: Generate invoices accurately and allocate funds to the appropriate accounts efficiently.
  • Account Matching and Query Resolution: Review accounts to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and address any issues quickly.
  • Customer Follow-up: Maintain professional communication with customers via written correspondence and phone calls to remind and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Requirements

  • Education: A Matric pass in Accounting and Mathematics is mandatory.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with debtors and debt collection is essential.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Proven track record of maintaining accuracy with figures.
  • Technological Skills: Proficiency in Sage, MS Excel, and MS Word is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English and Afrikaans is required.
  • Resilience Under Pressure: The ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude is crucial.
