Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule shipments and deliveries using dispatching software or other logistical methods.
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
  • Track and monitor shipment progress, and update systems and parties involved with any changes or delays.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify the quantity and quality of goods, ensuring alignment with order specifications.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to manage inventory and facilitate the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Maintain records of all dispatches, invoices, and shipments to ensure effective tracking and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries, complaints, and providing information regarding delivery times and shipping procedures.
  • Evaluate and improve logistics processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with dispatching software and logistics systems.
