Network Recruitment is partnering with a renowned manufacturing company to find a skilled Strategic Financial Director. This is an excellent opportunity for a CA(SA) with extensive experience in financial management, IT, and operations to drive growth and excellence.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Job Description
As a Strategic Financial Director, you will lead the development of financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will oversee accounting, tax, and compliance, while providing financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making, expansion, and cost optimization. Your responsibilities will also include:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including statements, forecasts, and budgets, while maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Overseeing IT systems and integrating financial software and ERP tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
  • Collaborating with HR to manage talent, payroll, compensation, and policies aligned with company goals.
  • Working with manufacturing teams to manage costs, optimize production, and lead financial planning for factory expansions and cost-saving initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing and managing risk frameworks to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will lead and develop the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration with other departments and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) certification and minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in senior financial roles. Your strong background in full financial management, experience managing IT systems in a manufacturing or engineering context, and ability to provide financial insights and recommendations will be valuable assets.
