We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team in the Lending Middle Office.
This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of structured CIB loan transactions, ensuring efficient and effective execution and end-to-end management in accordance with finance documents and related regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Management: Manage all CIB lending transactions in accordance with legal agreements and relevant legislation by adhering to prescribed processes, timelines, and procedures.
- Quality Implementation: Ensure quality implementation of bank-wide projects impacting lending operations within required deadlines.
- Operational Loss Mitigation: Achieve an acceptable level of operational loss events to ensure that the Function does not exceed the allocated expected loss threshold.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide quality support to key stakeholders (Front Office, Client, and others) in the form of deal implementation and on-going deal management support and management information.
- Internal Relationships: Ensure delivery of quality service and maintain good relationships with all internal stakeholders (e.g., frontline business, other support divisions including Finance, Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Credit) in order to meet business objectives.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by ensuring delivery of quality service and maintaining good relationships with all external stakeholders (e.g., clients, regulators, other lenders, and service providers).
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continued improvement of operations, systems, and processes impacting transactions.
- Credit and Legal Drafting: Contribute to the pre-implementation credit and legal drafting process to ensure efficient post-implementation transaction management.
- Transaction Data: Ensure understanding and compliance with transaction documents/requirements as well as Nedbank internal process requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to transactions.
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
BCom Degree
Experience LevelMinimum 2-3 years relevant financial experience in Merchant/Corporate banking.
