Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at RedCat Recruitment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing construction and earthmoving equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair construction and earthmoving equipment, including diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with equipment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to achieve team goals
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Competent computer skills, including MS Office and email
  • Trade tested diesel/earthmoving mechanic with 5+ years of experience in the construction/earthmoving industry
  • Previous experience with construction/earthmoving equipment, particularly Bell and Volvo ADT machinery
  • Ability to work weekends and after hours when required
