Job Title: Diesel Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at The Recruitment Guy. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections and on-board diagnoses to identify potential issues
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair complex issues
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Trade Tested Diesel Technician / Mechanic
  • Min 3-5 years post trade test experience as a Truck Technician
  • Previous work experience within a Truck Dealership / Commercial Truck Workshop industry/environment
  • Big Commercial Brand truck exposure / experience
  • Mechanical truck skills
  • Truck diagnostics and equipment experience
  • Workshop administration skills
  • Code 14 (advantage)
