About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Planning Officer to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, providing accurate and timely information for management decision-making.
  • Transaction Accuracy: Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Support the management of payables and receivables functions, streamlining financial processes and optimizing cash flow.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements and financial records, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, minimizing the risk of audit or penalties.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Inventory Support: Participate in inventory management and related financial activities, optimizing stock levels and reducing costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports for management review, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audit Assistance: Provide crucial support during audits by gathering necessary documents and information, ensuring seamless compliance.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll-related tasks and ensure accurate processing, meeting statutory requirements.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and optimize business performance.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices, applying knowledge to improve financial processes and procedures.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform special financial analysis and reports as needed, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Team Support: Assist senior accountants and financial managers with daily operations and special projects, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bcom in Finance: A degree in Finance or related field is essential for this role.
  • Completed Articles: Completed articles would be beneficial, demonstrating practical experience in financial accounting and auditing.
  • Minimum 2 Years Post Article Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-article experience is required, showcasing expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience: Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
