Job Description

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work accurately under pressure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Bank reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.
  • Customer reconciliations: Resolve customer account discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Phoning customers for collections: Effectively communicate with customers to resolve outstanding debts.
  • Processing payments: Accurately process customer payments and update accounts accordingly.
  • Liaising with debtors: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Handling all account-related queries: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Assisting with creditors: Collaborate with creditors to resolve any issues related to accounts payable.
  • Basic bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records and perform basic accounting tasks as required.
