Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of business performance.
  • Identification of key merchants to acquire, enriching the selection available on the platform, and coordination with our dedicated sales team to ensure deal closure.
  • Cultivation of long-term relationships with key accounts, enhancing their financials, marketing efforts, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Influence on delivery business operations.
  • Promotion of on-the-ground knowledge and context about city & partner operations to the wider company's South Africa team.
  • Ambassadorship of the company's mission, brand, and product.
  • Communication of value proposition to merchants and customers.
  • End-to-end sales motion leadership for Enterprise prospects, including qualification, education, pricing/quoting, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Strategic relationship building to gain positioning with decision-makers and drive new business growth.
  • Acquisition of extensive knowledge of merchants, area, and cities to identify further options for growth and development of new business pillars.
  • Development of tools and processes: Utilization of analytical ability combined with operational rigor to drive forward critical metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an account management role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a commercial or technical field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and interest in dealing with numbers and analysis.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and effectively champion customer needs.
  • Ability to take initiatives and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Desire to work with restaurants/merchants and build strategic partnerships, being proactive, creating positive and lasting relationships to bring added value and help reach potential.

Estimated Salary: R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, depending on experience.
