Electrical Panel Design Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at FM Staff in Cape Town.

This role involves designing and developing LV electrical panels, with a focus on MCC panels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and AutoCAD, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Designing and developing LV electrical panels, including MCC panels
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure panel designs meet customer requirements
  3. Developing and maintaining technical documentation for panel designs
  4. Ensuring panel designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
  5. Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements:

We're looking for an electrical design engineer with:
  1. At least 3 years' experience in designing LV electrical panels
  2. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical engineering principles
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  5. BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
