About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead our Division of Physical Therapy as the Division Chief and Program Director. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy education, research, and leadership.

The Division of Physical Therapy is a vibrant community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to advancing the field of physical therapy through innovative education, research, and service.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Administration:
    • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Division of Physical Therapy;
    • Oversee the administration of the division, including budget management, personnel supervision, and policy development;
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a culture of excellence and innovation within the division.
  • Academic Programs:
    • Develop and implement high-quality academic programs that meet the needs of students and the profession;
    • Coordinate curriculum development and assessment with faculty and staff;
    • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations.
  • Research and Scholarship:
    • Pursue and publish research in areas related to physical therapy education and practice;
    • Seek external funding to support research and scholarship initiatives;
    • Engage in scholarly activities that advance the field of physical therapy.
  • Service and Engagement:
    • Participate in local, national, and international professional organizations to promote the Division of Physical Therapy and the College;
    • Engage in community outreach and service activities that benefit the public and the profession.
