We are seeking a skilled Junior Estimator to join our team at The Recruiters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and a proven track record of delivering accurate cost estimates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects
  • Assisting with tender submissions and packaging RFQs
  • Compiling detailed BOQs from drawings and attending site clarification meetings
  • Building relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing
  • Ensuring timely delivery of tenders and maintaining effective communication with senior management

Requirements:

  • BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the built environment
  • Proficiency in Candy (CCS Construction Computer Software) and MS Office
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
  • Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables
