Purpose:

  • To efficiently administer and coordinate quality and food safety management systems and certifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proper planning, overseeing, and controlling of activities related to the position of Systems Officer.
  2. Interpret and analyze assessment findings and investigations to determine interventions to improve quality and food safety management systems.
  3. Support and effectively communicate with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  4. Execute all functions of Management Representative as stipulated in ISO and FSSC standards.
  5. Report on performance of quality and food safety management systems and needs for improvement.
  6. Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout organization.
  7. Liaise with external parties on matters relating to quality and food safety management systems.
  8. Administer ISO, FSSC, SGF, Kosher, Halaal, Fair Trade, FDA, and Consumer Council certifications.
  9. Maintain Food Safety and Quality management system.
  10. Ensure adherence to all requirements as stipulated in various institutions' standards.
  11. Follow up and close out audit findings and liaise with certification bodies.
  12. Ensure certifications are valid and all new requirements are implemented and adhered to.
