About the Role

The Head of School is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the school. This role requires a strong educational background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Academic Leadership
  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure high-quality education.
  • Oversee the curriculum development and implementation process.

Staff Management
  • Lead and manage a team of academic and support staff.

Marketing and Enrollment
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students.
  • Manage the school's budget and ensure cost containment.
  • Oversee the enrollment process and ensure that the school meets its targets.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and hazards.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Legislative Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage exam entries and registrations.
  • Oversee the school's administrative functions.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications
  • Recognized degree and/or a 4-year professional teaching qualification.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience in a similar position.
  • Minimum of 3 years' managerial experience in a similar position.
Skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
