Agricultural Farm Manager

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced agricultural farm manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage farm operations, including crop production, animal husbandry, and general farm work.
  • Supervise personnel, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain infrastructure, including equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of veld research trials.

Requirements

  1. Senior certificate/Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification).
  2. A minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
  3. A valid (Code 8) driving licence.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Practical experience in general farm work, soil cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting.
  • Knowledge of plant science and research.
  • Ability to supervise personnel and manage admin-related functions.

Remuneration: R216,417 - R254,928 per annum (Salary Level 5).
