As an Occupational Health and Safety Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rules and regulations are followed according to the OHS Act No. 85 of 1993 and its regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To implement and ensure that all necessary staff members are informed of any changes regarding the OHS Act.
  • To ensure that appropriate safety controls are implemented where necessary.
  • To act against any staff members who do not abide by the rules and regulations of the Act.
  • To organize OHS training of employees and executives.
  • To design and deliver health and safety strategies and initiatives within the scope of the business.
  • To advise on the compliance of safety policies and documents.
Requirements:
  • Matric certification.
  • SAMTRAC certification.
  • Incident investigation certificate (any level).
  • A good understanding of ISO standards (specifically ISO 45001 and ISO 9001).
Estimated Salary Range:

R 250,000 - R 350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
