We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our team at The Wright Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's finance function and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including finance administration and receptionist.
- Develop and implement effective financial control systems, including cash flow management and risk assessment.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management accounts and annual budgets.
- Collaborate with the company accountants to prepare and publish annual financials, provisional tax, and assessed tax, as well as audits.
- Maintain Syspro super user skills, managing permission and report writing.
- Calculate KPIs for key personnel linked to bonus incentives.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with Syspro and a keen eye for detail are essential.
Requirements- Minimum 8 years' experience in cost and financial accounting, with a good knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Degree in CIMA or CA (SA) and 3 years in Articles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
- Experience in standard accounting packages in a manufacturing environment (e.g., SAP, Syspro).
