Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing payments, reconciling debtor's accounts, managing claims, maintaining master data, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring approved credit terms are not exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capturing of payments and accurate reconciliation of debtor's accounts
  • Claims management - control and processing of all claims deducted by customers in the form of transport claims, sallies, etc.
  • Master Data management – ensuring 100% correct and compliant master data, handling debtor's information safely and correctly in line with the POPI act
  • Maintaining good customer relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensuring approved credit terms and limits are not exceeded
  • Bookkeeping – ensuring accurate clearing of accounts, timely submission of statements to avoid non-payment or late payments
  • Reporting – 30, 60, 90, 120 days POD Control reporting, Price Discrepancy report, Cash Inflow and Settlement discount report
  • Advising superiors of potential bad debts to take necessary action steps
  • Inter department communication – Sales Admin, Sales, PFLS, etc.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is around R550,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and market research.
