Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain human rights monitoring programs in each region, ensuring alignment with the company's values and standards.
Main ResponsibilitiesProgram Development and Implementation
- Design and develop human rights monitoring programs tailored to each region, incorporating both Brambles and its value chains.
- Document and implement these programs, ensuring seamless execution and monitoring.
Salient Issue Assessments and Inspections
- Conduct thorough salient issue assessments and human rights inspections across Brambles' operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and escalate any non-conformities, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
SMETA Audits and Supplier Support
- Collaborate with regional teams to support suppliers during SMETA audits, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to address identified issues.
- Foster open communication with suppliers, promoting transparency and cooperation.
Human Rights Training and Awareness
- Deliver engaging human rights training sessions to relevant stakeholders, promoting understanding and adherence to company policies.
- Plan and execute awareness campaigns, raising visibility around human rights initiatives and expectations.
Investigations and Compliance Risk Assessments
- Undertake internal investigations and compliance risk assessments as delegated, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Drive root cause analysis, addressing underlying issues and implementing corrective measures.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (law, paralegal studies, or international business).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in law or compliance-related roles.
- Proven analytical, writing, and research capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Background in corporate compliance within a global organization.
- Investigation and risk assessment experience.
- Training delivery expertise.
