About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including managing maintenance teams, handling HR-related staff queries, motivating maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with OH&S and SHEQ standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations management, with experience in managing warehouses, teams, and projects. They will be able to work productively in a high-pressure environment, manage time effectively, and set clear goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse
  • Handle HR-related staff queries and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Motivate maintenance staff to improve performance and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and SHEQ standards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Oversee the management of keys, washbay, photobooth, and other facilities
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of vehicles and ensure timely inspections

We offer a competitive salary of R500,000 per annum, plus benefits including 15 days annual leave, Momentum Provident fund, and Discovery Life Insurance.

Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics, Maintenance, or Operational Management (advantageous)
  • Valid driver's license and 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
