Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Blood Transfusion Specialist to join our team at the South African National Blood Service. As a key member of our Blood Grouping Section, you will be responsible for ensuring operational objectives are realised.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operational objectives in the Blood Grouping Section, Virology Section, and NAT Section are achieved.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality compliance with SOP specifications.
  • Promote specialist technical and operational objectives within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • HPCSA Registered Medical Technologist (Blood Transfusion) qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in blood transfusion.
