Job Description:

As a Medical Blood Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective collection, processing, and distribution of blood products. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational objectives and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on laboratory equipment.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, applicants must have:

  • HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist (Blood Transfusion).
  • A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.
