Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite and manage personal insurance policies, including reviewing and analyzing risk profiles, assessing policyholder information, and making informed decisions on policy coverage and premiums.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and renewal processes, providing expert advice and guidance on policy options and requirements.
- Manage policy renewals, including reviewing policyholder information, assessing risk profiles, and making informed decisions on policy coverage and premiums.
- Process policy amendments, cancellations, and claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that policyholders are informed of any changes or updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policyholder information, policy details, and underwriting decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Minimum three to five years of relevant work experience in short-term insurance, with a strong understanding of underwriting principles and practices.
- Matric certificate and relevant qualifications, such as RE1 or RE5, NQF Level 4 certificate in short-term insurance, and CPD certificates indicating up-to-date compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales teams, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk profiles and make informed decisions on policy coverage and premiums.
