Role Purpose
The Manager of People Information and Third-Party Contracts is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the Employee Information Services (EIS) team and managing the Third-Party Contracting procedures for KPMG.
This position will lead the EIS team, ensuring that colleague data administration adheres to established service level agreements.
Additionally, this role will actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of the EIS portfolio.
Engagement with leaders, process owners, external stakeholders, and HR Managers is essential to align initiatives with business and PPC objectives.
This position is also responsible for ensuring that the Third-Party contracting process is uniformly applied across the firm and that SOFY controls are executed to comply with the Global Quality and Risk Management Manual (GQRMM), as well as Employee Tax and Labour Law requirements.
Position Requirements
Educational Background
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- Strong leadership capabilities, particularly in managing an Information Services team.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management and the requirements of professional services firms, including ISQM1 implications.
- Proficient knowledge of the Oracle HR system.
- In-depth understanding of the GQRMM and Third-Party Contracting Process.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective administrative solutions.
- Capacity to manage and coordinate various administrative initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, coupled with strong analytical and technical abilities.
- Demonstrated success in communicating effectively at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the EIS team, including transaction and data quality monitoring.
- Authorize ISQM control requirements related to Third-Party contracting and colleague information in the Oracle HR system.
- Establish and enforce EIS quality standards in accordance with Global KPMG guidelines.
- Ensure equitable workload distribution within the EIS team.
- Continuously monitor service delivery and guide EIS team activities to meet established standards within agreed staffing limits and in alignment with SLAs.
- Conduct regular audits of changes made in the Oracle HRMS system to ensure accuracy.
- Enhance support systems and processes within the EIS team through ongoing reviews of business processes.
- Collaborate with the EIS Team Lead and ITS regarding any Oracle HR and/or Service Now changes or enhancements, conduct user acceptance testing, and manage project implementations effectively.
- Adopt a proactive approach to PPC administration and colleague information support by refining existing processes and tools to achieve quality outcomes while mentoring the team and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that the PPC Portal and associated policies and procedures are current, relevant, and compliant.
Compliance and Documentation
Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to maintain compliance within employee information systems. Ensure accurate documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and data privacy policies.
- Oversee the management of the Third-Party Contracting process, including the contracting tracker and training tracker.
- Maintain the Third-Party Contracting Process in accordance with GQRMM requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the Third-Party Contracting process by HR teams across the Southern Africa Region.
- As the Third-Party related ISQM control operator, execute controls, document control operations, and verify the effectiveness of controls with supporting evidence.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the POPI Act requirements regarding personnel information.
