Flair TM is seeking a results-driven Head of Finance to drive financial strategy and business growth in the property management sector. As a strategic and dynamic finance leader, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of our company.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial and operational controls to safeguard company assets and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Drive cost management initiatives to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of annual financial statements and trust account audits.
  • Prepare and oversee group budgets, including subsidiaries and divisions.
  • Presentation of relevant, timely, and accurate financial and management reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Oversee the efficient management of trust accounts in line with regulations and internal policies.
  • Cash flow management, including banking and financial institution relationships.
  • Financial analysis for strategic decision-making, including remuneration structures, feasibility studies, and cost assessments.
  • Intercompany loan reconciliations and exposure to basic consolidations.
  • VAT and PAYE reconciliations with regulatory bodies.
  • Ad hoc finance-related projects aligned with our growth strategy.

Requirements:

  • A CA(SA) qualification is essential.
  • Minimum 5+ years of senior financial management experience, preferably within property management or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of trust accounting and IFRS standards is advantageous.
  • Experience with intercompany loan reconciliations and financial consolidations.
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain financial controls, optimize costs, and manage compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budget preparation.
