About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and Accounts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including investigating and resolving issues.
  3. Prepare and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Serve as a signing authority for documents and correspondence related to payroll and accounts.
  6. Respond to employee queries and disputes, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  2. Advanced accounting knowledge and skills, including budgeting, costing, and financial reporting.
  3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. Tertiary qualifications (NQF Level 7) in Accounting or equivalent, with Financial Accounting as a major subject.
