Our dynamic team operates in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. As a Litigation Secretary, you will be part of a respected and thriving Law firm, contributing to the delivery of excellent services to clients.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Attorneys.
- Draft, format, and manage legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Manage Attorneys' diaries and appointments.
- Liaise with third parties, including Court Officials, Sheriffs, and client staff.
- Efficiently utilise legal practice management systems and platforms.
- Prepare and process billing, invoices, and legal cost tracking.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Litigation Secretary in a Law firm.
- Strong typing and dictation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Court Online, CaseLines, and other legal software (or willingness to learn).
- Experience working with financial institutions is advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of foreclosure, insolvency, and general litigation is highly beneficial.
