Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Attorneys.
  • Draft, format, and manage legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
  • Manage Attorneys' diaries and appointments.
  • Liaise with third parties, including Court Officials, Sheriffs, and client staff.
  • Efficiently utilise legal practice management systems and platforms.
  • Prepare and process billing, invoices, and legal cost tracking.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Litigation Secretary in a Law firm.
  • Strong typing and dictation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Court Online, CaseLines, and other legal software (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience working with financial institutions is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of foreclosure, insolvency, and general litigation is highly beneficial.
