Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the BizOps Analytics team, you'll be responsible for extracting valuable insights from data, creating visualisations and reports for internal stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on data quality and governance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing stakeholder reporting requirements from a data and functional perspective
  • Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends in data sets, providing actionable insights
  • Investigating and resolving data issues by identifying problems and collaborating effectively with relevant business and tech teams
  • Transforming, loading and ensuring seamless integration of data into our standard database structure
  • Acquiring new data from various sources and aggregating or consolidating it while maintaining quality assurance for data output to stakeholders
  • Monitoring production runs to guarantee accuracy and timely delivery of reports
  • Adjusting, maintaining and configuring existing ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow within the data warehouse
  • Engaging in regular interactions with internal stakeholders to ensure they're informed about data insights
  • Asking questions or escalating issues when necessary to find solutions where appropriate
  • Coordinating and producing bespoke data sets tailored for specific business needs
  • Processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Advanced analytical skills to source, organise and analyse significant amounts of information accurately
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently, meeting reasonable deadlines
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with strong presentation abilities
  • A problem-solving mindset and critical thinking skills
  • The capacity to think creatively and relay insights from data
  • The ability to work well in a team as well as individually

We're looking for someone with a BSc degree or similar field, demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting within financial services or fintech, and proficiency in SQL and Python.
