The NRF/SARAO - South African Radio Astronomy Observatory requires a Technician for Electronic Modules Production to assemble and test electronic modules and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble and test electronic modules and systems designed and produced by SARAO according to manufacturing data packs.
  2. Provide logistics support to Receiver systems deployed to the field.
  3. Integrate, test and troubleshoot modules and systems.
  4. Compile test procedures and reports.
  5. Source components and equipment required for Receiver production or laboratory needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • National Diploma: Electronics / Electrical
  • 5 years of electronic testing experience
  • Valid driver's license
