Warehouse Operations Role

The Receiving Clerk is a vital member of our warehouse operations team, playing a key role in receiving, storing, and distributing goods to customers. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming deliveries, checking quality and quantity against shipping documentation.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues with shipments, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of all received shipments, including inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Work closely with the stock controller to maintain 100% stock accuracy and develop processes for resolving discrepancies.
  • Process returns and manage damaged goods, following established procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in a warehousing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the role.
