Key Responsibilities
  • Material Requirements Planning: Use MRP software to forecast material needs, generate purchase orders, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Supply Chain Management: Understand supply chain dynamics, including supplier relationships, procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure a smooth flow of materials and components to support production schedules.
  • MRP Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP MRP settings to align with the company requirements, including setting up planning parameters and configuring procurement settings.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze data using SAP to optimize MRP processes, troubleshoot issues related to MRP processes, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to all stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as development, production, and logistics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management.
  • Certifications: SAP Certifications required within the Production Planning Manufacturing modules.
  • Experience: 10 years' experience in automotive manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain management is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using planning and scheduling modules in MS Office, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MRP Experience: Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, bill of materials (BOM), master production scheduling, and capacity planning.
  • SAP Modules: In-depth knowledge of SAP modules relevant to MRP, including Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Capacity Planning.
