Tax Practitioner and Accountant

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing accounting services to clients.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a registered tax practitioner with experience in E-filing, specifically individual, company and trust tax returns, VAT and PAYE returns.

Responsibilities include handling reviews and SARS queries, as well as accounting functions such as Case Ware Working Papers and Pastel Partner.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for compiling annual financial statements and performing bookkeeping functions during AFS prep work.

Requirements:

  • Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS
  • Knowledge and experience with E-filing
  • Handling of reviews and any SARS queries
  • Accounting functions, specifically Case Ware Working Papers and Pastel Partner
  • Compiling of annual financial statements
  • Good Excel skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Working Conditions:

This is an entry-level full-time position based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
